Tournament NDFL I - Week Three

• Follow all rules listed here.
• Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
• If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
• Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
• If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
• Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
• Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly

SV OU: NoName6293 40/60 delemon
Although delemon's loss to omarsgarciav last week did involve some hax, I still think omar played the better game all in all. NoName6293 put up a nice win in their first OU slot of the season vs tempo, but overall I like what delemon has been doing + am more familiar with them. Will take delemon with decent margins

SV OU: Javi 51/49 R8
I think Javi is probably the better player here, although R8 has a clear leg up in experience. Obviously R8 is the stall guy, this transcends National Dex tier knowledge so Javi can probably prep for that? But R8 has more versatiltiy than they're given credit for imo. I will favor Javi in an even mu slightly, but R8 can definitely win this in the builder with their innovative approach on anything north of balance.

SS OU: Redgoop115 40/60 Batzi
I thought Batzi played their first 2 weeks very well despite only going 1-1 in the span, particularly putting up a dominant performance against autumn who is one of the stronger players in the pool. Redgoop115 also played nicely last week vs K302, and are off to a nice 2-0 start themselves. Im gonna favor Batzi here off their performances so far

SV UU: memedose46 40/60 awyp
I think awyp has looked really solid in UU so far, having a good grasp on the meta with pretty cool team compositions. memedose46 didnt have the greatest week 1 but redeemed themselves in a nice W2 win over danbear, an experienced mainer. I've liked awyp's execution better so far, so taking them.

SV RU: Fluore 55/45 spoo
Really good match here, Fluore has looked great in their showings so far while spoo struggled last week, but im still confident in them as player. If spoo brings a solid team, we should be in for a pretty even mu all things considered. Gonna favor Fluore's established performances so far, looking forward to this.

SV Ubers: cat 47/53 Alpha1013
i really dont know about either player's ubers experience, so im bolding team RFN.

SV DOU: Astro Nation Shoe 47/53 Glimmer
Glimmer is nice with it from what ive seen, astro nation shoe is nice with it but to a slightly less degree. Bolding Glimmer

SV Monotype: TTTech 49/51 Big Chungus irl

SV OU: autumn 45/55 Fragments
Autumn shifts over to SV OU after a rough start to SS OU, so we'll see if they can get their footing back. Fragments, on the other hand, has been nothing short of great with a 2-0 start, playing well in both games. Taking him with a slight edge as a player.

SV OU: about15guys 43/57 Mada
One of these players is gonna get on the board this week. about15guys is our earlier frontrunner for JOTY (Johner Of The Year) while Mada has got off to a disappointing 0-2 start. I still have more faith in Mada to pull a win out ultimately, so ill bold them.

SS OU: Amstan 51/49 2020 idm boomer
Ngl this just feels like a random ass game boomer is gonna lose, amstanley is out for blood after the W1 UU heartbreak and someone has to step to them. Gut feeling but favoring amstan slightly

SV UU: nimzowitsch 53/47 Thedeathsofbeings234
Not too familiar with both playing-wise in UU as a whole, so im gonna favor Runo and TBIC's support over Arishem's. Taking nimzowitsch with slight odds.

SV RU: Kinzo Ketchum vs Chris Chien Pao
woulda bolded my goat kinzo over oculars-proclaimed lower tiers legend Chris Chien Pao.

SV Ubers: WeirdHamster 63/37 Concept Everything
WeirdHamster- you cost me $3 last week in the loss to R8. If you dont beat concept...I might never be able to predict your way again. (Hamster more experienced and will pull out their super stall)
