Hello and welcome to the next step in development for GSC PU! GSC PU has had a tumultuous history since its modern inception in 2020. While the tier got of to a strong start, a sequence of bans and unbans have discouraged people from investing too much time in the tier or updating its resources.
After this tier's inclusion the PU Open, the general sentiment is that Furret should be banned. This tour will test the metagame without Furret. Our goal here is first to have fun, but also to determine if the absence of Furret improves the health of the metagame. I hope after we reach a conclusion GSC PU can move out of the psuedo-beta state it has been in for the last ~3 years and become a more established presence in the GSC and PU communities.

Tournament Rules:
- Matches will be best-of-three in every round (defined as the first player to win two games, i.e. ties are not counted).
- All tournament games must be played on Pokemon Showdown!, and all replays of all tournament games must be posted.
- All matches will be played in the GSC NU format - challenge using this command:
- This tournament will be single elimination, meaning that a win advances a player to the next round and a loss means a player is out of the tournament.
- Each round will last one week.

- GSC PU rules/clauses can be found here. This will lead to the NU dex page but the clauses are the same for PU.
