while i appreciate the effort of you put into giving the analysis guy, i still feel its a bit rude to disclose the abilities and build of other teams. even though most of it is reverse engineerable and the teambuilding style of this meta falls into a pattern, i personally dont think that is the best practice. i thought i'd speak about this now since its been based on eel's knowledge of abilities and speculation until then.

ggs tho

ok but why does your g1 team have a regenvest guy and 2 scales guys. how is 1 (one) fc poisonceus meant to hold off the tide of karts chomps mmxs

Well, you are you going? I'm still laughing that Capcom decided to call someone in their games Juan Corrida... no wonder why it got changed to Juan Rivera, which... gives me memories of those twins in 7th grade.
Fights for my first crush's attention aside, I'm now here once again giving you news about this tournament. So let's begin with the normal stuff aka the usage table:

Could not be filled because as it turns out, is incredibly difficult to organize stuff between a Chinese and a newbie in the forum. Anyways, here I have some important takeaways with the little data we have
  • Next to no Diancie-Mega nor Kartana. That being said those players are playing more defensively but it might have to do with...
    • More steel types than ever. I counted 12 out of 48, who became 19 out of 84 after the last addition; every single team had a Steel type and 5 had two of. M-Steelix in particular was used in half of those.
      • If I had to guess this is a meta adaptation to mortal spin. Btw, I've seen lately less mortal spin and more old school rapid spin, probably because of a result of the first "metal" adaptation.
  • No Arceus-Ghost to be seen. Partially better ways to deal with Ghosts, partially the ban of Fillet Away, partially an increase of ice scales and most importantly small sample size. Also, Arceus Poison is now the new most popular arceus form, again, to deal with mortal spin.
  • In theory a resurgance of Mewtwo, probably because it's the best way to deal with steel types in the entire tier, as well as the popular Arceus-Poison and Eternatus.

augustakira: ...Do you realize you could have said this info privately? Believe me, I won't reveal info I can't confirm, Is just part of my nature... so I won't if it's not 100% confirmed; I trust yours because they all played a role during the matches and sped it a lot still. Anyways, I don't think I have much to say about augustakira that I've not said before, so I better focus on the teams brought out; before pointing out, both teams are using a double Steel type core, which is becoming somewhat popular to deal with Mortal spin strats, and I'm sure I had implied Augustakira was one of the pioneer Celesteela players.
The first one has lots of weird tricks under the sleeve; M-Scizor with regenvest (A steel type with regenvest. I know, quite original...), Rocky Helmet Celesteela, Smogon's real mascot with Speed boost + Swords dance (Afaik I've said any pokemon with 85+ speed or more can outspeed the entire tier with +1 speed), Water God with Ice scales because speed matters and Magic guard future bike instead of the usual fur coat or the boosting power hability. Set 2 was technically less original but still noteworthy because it showcases the meta evolution in the last two months: MG Arceus-Dragon is augustakira's signature at this point alongside Celesteela, while Primordial Sea Registeel and Defensive Lunala are becoming popular lately. Nothing else to say, just another victory for a great player.

Nihilslave: Something I've failed to mention before and IDK how it bypassed my mind is that Nihilslave is a very agressive kind of player, one of the few who play offense in a semi-stall meta and searches a quick victory. The metods used are mostly to punish common defensive cores with an unexpected sweeper or switch due to teleport; is a playstyle who is incredibly difficult to reverse-engineer effectively btw. Ths spice of this week is, amusingly, spicy extract, Opportunistic, mirror herb MMX, and we also noticed that despite being an offensive player Nihilslave doesn't seem to prioritize the hazard game, over trying to open teams wide open, during this week using Final gambit Eternatus and WRAP Arceus ghost (What is this, GEN 1?).
That being said, in case the opponent is able to block the initial onslaught properly it just... loses, and is quite reliant on their mons being fast, which makes me realize I indeed should have used my specs Miraidon 2 weeks ago. Not too much to talk, which is when games end before turn 30 most of the time.

Quantum Tesseract: I'm honestly becoming a big fan of this player... Oh wait I can't because I already was before this match. Teambuilding-wise, it's not amazing, but is good enough due to the move diversity to pick the opponent offguard, like thunder Cage Kyogre, Salt Cure Steelix or Magma Storm Arceus-Fairy. But the real strenght of this player is the hability to read opponents like a book, mostly because the gameplay used is incredibly bait and punish; by mixing stupid strong wallbreakers with pivots and walls Quantum Tesseract creates a moderate-risk, massive reward situation incredibly often, and then punishes the fact we as humans are not perfect beings and therefore we can make our reads wrong, over and over again in situations who demand immediate attention, which oftentimes causes a defensive collapse and shortly after a sweep.
Btw, you and Cityscapes already have 20 bucks in your pockets because you're two of the top 3 players due to how this tournament works; the third one is not decided until 2 weeks later. DO NOT DARE TO MAKE COLUSSION with the prize, because I'm sure that's against the law and worthy of disqualification.

Also, Geneku, you're really playing to your Volo character on your showdown profile. SERIOUSLY, I stated multiple times it takes me like 10 hours to make something decent, and you ask me to do EVEN MORE WORK? Anyways there are my previous we... OMG are we already at week 8?! Time flies when you're not particularly busy.
Week 1
Week 2
Week 3
Week 4
Week 5
Week 6
Week 7

... I'm genuinely amazed I was able to end now at 9 PM, but that might be because:
A) Augustakira made a lot of the heavy lifting, allowing me to save like 2-3 hours and not having sleep issues, and
B) There were only 4 battles, therefore less time juggling sprites and pausing rematches.
I know I have to edit once more tomorrow, but that should be at worst as hard as today's work so I should be fine.

Farewell and ugh, my throat is still sour. Who asked me to imitate the voice of the obnoxious clown?! I guess I really am a foolish fool as the german whip lady said, although oddly enough it's due to searching perfection.

PS: I finally finished... I also feel I'm forgetting to apologize for something; not exactly what I said but how, but where and when was it exactly? Also...

Is nothing special, really, just me doing what I'm good at... I really need to convince mom to go to the next session.

I HAVE to see this match. When would it be? Because I don't have discord to communicate atm... Also I forgot to sent the comment on tuesday. I'm serious, they're 2 of my 3 biggest idols in BH.
(Don't worry Cityscapes, you're N°4).

PS: I KNEW it was a good idea when I saved this gif in png format. Also, BH, No OU. My mind isn't thinking for some reason today.

PPS: For what I've seen, apparently neither of the opponents on this big clash wants the other as the next opponent. If I had to guess it's because they know quite well eachother, how formidable are they as players, which kinda suggest this should be an intense match where two styles Clash with eachother, in this case consistency vs unpredictability. Also no, the main moderator and organizer aren't in top 5.

How are you going? In my case, it was switching constantly from this feeling, to this one, then this and finally a scene akin to a 7th grade moment when everyone became against me (Yup, that was my legit answer to that. That's why I go to therapy) due to throwing away the metal thermos that the Rivera I mentioned last week used to annoy me every lunch; Seriously, that franchise I'm playing is an amazing emotional rollercost... Wait, this is About pokémon, not attorneys nor shady events that should not be named in this forum.

Because the amount of matches is so low now, I figured out I could deviate from the traditional table and could use individual players instead of giving percentages who are just meaningless right now... Also, since There's no more %, i think I should clarify when a pokémon was part of the same team, which I define as "the exact 6 same pokémon with allegedly the exact 6 same habilites" disregarding movepool.

You can literally conclude nothing from here because there's only 2 players. Also, Dahm it! I missed the whole match; I guess it's due to being too busy trying to put the parasol b**** under arrest, which is 100% my fault. Whatever, here are the 5 teams used during the 6 matches down here.

Victory

That Siberian husky ate TTTech's team who is in the floor. Well, because there's literally only 1 player who won, I feel I should talk about both.

Augustakira: What the lack of sleep can do to a prodigy. Seriously, it wasn't like the regular Akira we see usually, with use of HO when is more of a balance/Semi-stall player, making YOLO plays and distrusting... his? her? their? its? teambuilding that had carried said player so far to the point to import a relatively cheesy HO from Clas. Augustakira, you're not the "win or die" HO kind of player, or at least you don't specialize on that, you're a patient Nilo Crocodile who searches mistakes instead of forcing those, using great defensive cores with good imposter-proof like Magic Guard Arceus-Dragon and Celesteela, alongside simple but rare offensive pokémon most teams aren't properly prepared for.
That's the Akira I felt in deep admiration for back in week 5, and IMO, the biggest mistake a pokémon player can do is trying to play something too different to what they're good at, like when I tried combo in LoR despite being a tempo player, but you were sleepy back then so I understand you.

Nihilslave: Well, There wasn't a lot to analyze here if I'm honest, since this felt more like a fever dream. I guess. It was seriously a difficult match to believe, with stuff like Magic Guard Blissey (An idea from week 7 Augustakira) with double blob, Population bomb M-Lopunny, Drizzle and Drought to support Water spourt, Burn up and V-Create, a Mimikyu, a shuckle who is likely unaware and a non-imposter Chansey.
I've known that you can't really see that mind because is just that unpredictable, while still remaining as a massive Threat . Sorry for doubting you because I'll be honest, I was expecting Akira to win. I guess I can say that I wish you luck.

Anyways there are my previous weeks. It feels like yesterday when I did week 1. Time flies when you're not particularly busy, because it has been already over 2 months.

Week 1
Week 2
Week 3
Week 4
Week 5
Week 6
Week 7
Week 8

I'm not shocked I ended at 11PM, I spent most of the day not filling stuff but rather trying to put the Serial killer Parasol B**** under arrest rather than focusing on my usual duty.

Also, now I remember what I said. I'm deeply sorry for... NO, not that Corporate sorry.
What I feel sorry for is my misbehavior this last two weeks, being overly impulsive and at times somewhat intrusive, without care for how manners work in the Internet. While I still think that what I've said it's roughly true and I can't promise anything, nor suddenly like Tea and Chessking, but I'll try to mantain a lower profile to not annoy the users in this forum, specially the ones who are with their own business, and you can call me out if I'm doing wrong.
PLEASE CALL ME OUT if necessary, because I really struggle to see where are those boundaries of interactions.

That would be it. Farewell and I didn't knew amateur-ish voice acting causes pain in the nasopharinge, as well as wish me luck on my next session.

PS: F for Augustakira. You were a truly excellent player who thaught me a lot about BH.

PPS: Apparently that team was used by Augustakira first, then Clas adopted it. Upps, Still, it doesn't feel like the teams used from weeks 5-8 in the slightest, nor a good way to defeat an unpredictable force like Nihilslave over a more consistent playstyle; "never play the same game as your opponent unless it's also yours" I like to say.
Also, the 2nd link was saying how an as***** bellboy betrayed him, and that plushie duck was saying "I'm scared, I'm scared, I'm so scared". Finally, some minor edits.

That explosion spam is literally my team? I did throw by bringing it the 2nd time but like it is literally my team that I subbed as a sample? This isn't me going out of my playstyle that's a team I've used on ladder for months lmao.

Also, incredibly hype matchups this week.
Why Cetitan over Mamoswine or Calyrex-Ice? Both are stronger, have secondary STAB, the mammot faster with almost perfect STAB combo and the horse is much bulkier and stronger. It's a question I've had for over a month at this point... Wait, this isn't the place to ask for this, or is it?

... Did I saw a 25-year old guy wanting to flirt with A 9 YEAR OLD GIRL?! I know that girl ships our protagonists constantly, but it's precisely part of her character that innocent desire to see a fairy-tale, lovestory ending. Listen game, I can tolerate perverts and losers. But do you think I'll forgive you that I had to defend... that thing, the "red =/= blue" lunar logic for anticlimax, only 2 witnesses in a 3-day chapter, or 3 obnoxious french stereotypes in a row, just due to the jazzy Spanish coffee guy and 3 beautiful ladies in french maid costumes..? I guess I'll give you a pass, game, but only once...
Wait, THIS IS ABOUT POKÉMON, not the bump in my relationship with an otherwhise great game... Who am I fooling? I like to talk about myself.

Whatever, you know the deal by now, I'm showing usage first, teams second, and now instead of % I'm showing the users who decided to use said pokémon. the | means teams on the left, usage on the right.

... Can't believe I've not used memes about "Twitch Plays pokémon" with Arceus up until now, despite how the serie devolved into. Aside from that:
  • I'm seeing here an almost absense of Primal Kyogre, the back in the day considered a top 4 pokémon, due to how badly the passive damage thing is becoming.
  • Flying type is more prominent than ever, with a total of 12/66 | 13/72. Probably to deal with the popular ground coverage.
  • Also, almost no MMX, probably due to the ban of Lumina Crash. I'll be honest here though, I feel this is a bit of an overreaction, MMX is still the terror of the omnipresent steel type and there's still stuff to use those great mixed offenses, or just use the 190 attack.
  • Chansey is becoming more popular than ever, with literal 6 out of 6 victories having one.
  • The "Fast special swiss knife dragons" were not used too much. I guess ground is becoming popular as coverage, but more likely is because of how vulnerable the bulky setup sweeper variants (the most popular ones) are against Chansey imposter sweeps.
Next, as always, teams, even though they'll not help your overly greedy playstyle who forgets the opponent isn't an NPC like the main games.

Cityscapes: CLODSIRE... Ups, sorry. On a serious note, This had to be quite the exciting match. I've noticed that people have been taking lessons from other players and adapted those to their playstyle, and no one shows this better than Cityscapes, considering she adapted the Magic guard Arceus from Augustakira's Arceus-Dragon but ghost, while also noticing a big love for prankster in case Steelix-Mega and best boi Clodsire, and some unorthodox picks in Liquid ooze Arceus-Ghost, Guts Kangaskhan-Mega, Clodsire, Volcanion (Probably the same as in week 6), Prankster Steelix-Mega, Ice scales Eternatus, Arceus-Ground (yes, at this point in time is considered gimmicky) and a cheeky liquid ooze on Arceus-Ghost she trusts almost as much as that celesteela.
Those gimmicks don't seem to always work as i've noticed with Guts Kangaskhan-Mega as a much worse Slaking, but Cityscape seems to be quite good at using the opposing wincon as if it was her own via chansey, so the gimmick works for her well enough, specially on teams she is more familiar with. Congrats for your 40 USD and thank you for telling me the time of the match. PS: I knew MMX was magic guard because the damage numbers were boosted by 25-32% to both stone axe and High Jump kick, like with life orb, without losing health.

Nihilslave: Did I saw a TURN 1 SURRENDER, in game 3 of LOSER SEMIS? How did the last game even avoid happening..? Now that I analyzed, it's quite simple, that Deoxys was imposter-proof in the sense of being depraved of special bulk; if Deoxys-attack has 47 or less special defense it would guarantee a OHKO on Eviolite Chansey with psychic surge.
That kind of set is what defines Nihilslave as a player, something who looks normal on the surface until, surprise, it gets you with a weird move or set you were not expecting; It was how could defeat Tea Guzzler twice, Augustakira, Fun Trading and Myself (Am I forgetting someone or did Nihilslave's opponents forfeited that much?), wether is Opportunistic/Mirror herb/Spicy extract Mewtwo-Mega-X, Aerialite Aerodactyl-Mega, Triple fire type with drought, Type: Null + Dragon Tail Magearna or a bulkless Deoxys. Congrats for the money and hope your Bilibili channel is getting a profit with this tournament and you getting through Loser round hell alive.

Quantum Tesseract: First of all, Thank you for telling me when the match started. Second, the matches were quite close. The problem was mostly that the hornet style demands an opponent to have exploitable weaknesses, something Cityscapes covered quite well; is not like never happened, considering Kangaskhan mega was weak to Fur Coat Kyogre, but apparently the tactic of strong wallbreakers doesn't work with a team who doesn't lose momentum due to pristine Chansey use.
Interesting that Quantum also tried out Arceus-Ground in the tour, as well as other known niche picks ins Fur Coat Zacian and Melmetal period, or straight up weird ones like Fur Coat take hearth Kyogre primal, a pokémon who you can only describe as the fallen king of the sea used as a wincon with good mixed bulk, or Water absorb Yveltal to counter Flip turn.

TTTech: I still can't say too much about him as a player, TTTech is just your average good player as I've said a few weeks ago, regular sets for the most part, standard balance to semistall teams and relatively honest gameplay who is based around gathering info then sweep. He seems has been practicing creativity lately with that Final gambit (I'm going to guess with mind's eye because of acupressure cheese), heavy prankster usage and simple Victory Dance Yveltal (First one I've seen that move since my week 1 with MMX), which I would define here as a calculated risk that wasn't made by a great mathematician, because the mistake here was trying to predict the unpredictable variable.

Also and as always, here are the links to the usage, now in a tightly made package who I can't believe I've not done this up until now because it looks so much better.

And this would be it. I though I could defeat the system via putting images before needing to download anything... but the rain decided to troll me, FORCING ME TO PUT THE IMAGES AGAIN, losing over an hour in the process, and another half hour due to wrong click closing the window where I'm editing. Midnight isn't that bad compared to before but could have been 10PM if I did not made such silly mistakes (nor the PC got alzheimer).

Finally, if you forgot what I said before, i'll do it again: Quantum, please don't give up yet, the tournament isn't over, and I know well that all three of the awarded players have good chance of winning first place, which includes you. If I was in the same mentality you were on turn 3-4 of game 3 with every opponent i've faced, I would have not ended on 13th place but on 33th. This isn't soloQ where time is a resource, this is a tournament WITH MONEY AS PRIZE.

Farewell and I can't get out of my head "the fragance of black coffee" (Now neither will you if you pressed the link); is like the Undella city (winter), Pokemon league (Sinnoh, both), Vs Ho-Oh, Space Junk Road, Fossil falls, Vs Masked DDD, Gerudo Valley, ... you get the idea, of the franchise. Also, stereotypical french voices really hurt your throat.

PS: F for TTTech. Truly an "Steven Stone" kind of player up until the end. Sad that the prize wasn't 150 with 10 USD for the 4th place.
Also, GODDAHMIT, I LOST 1 HOUR DUE TO A BUG IN THE FORUM who deleted half the Images I've put. I'll leave the attached Clodsire though.

PPS: At least I was able to finish this before the whole server shutdown. I'll be honest, for a moment I feared I had something akin to Lavos (the unlucky drama queen, who after the ragequit decided to go to the most luck-reliant card game around) due to somewhat harsh commentary.

Good whatever your time is. In today's week I got Juan Carlos Bodoque as victim, lots of, and I quote, love for weenies, love for waitress uniforms from an old man, an alolan form of the Attorney 12 years before Alola, Homer Simpson as chef, a mafia Corpse dating the alolan attorney, a spanish and colorblind coffee addict prosecutor, a inmate who loves to bite chainballs and ... sigh... teenagers , the parasol b**** being one since middle school, 3 unprofessional law figures due to being their first day, and a spanish coffee addict attorney "totally different" to the other one.

I almost feel... Nostalgic. It has been over 2 months since I first began this. What I started as just a curiosity due to my inner census taker nature, just became so much more for me and the higher ends of the forma... wait, this is no time to become emotional, it's time to see raw data. Now it looks quite clean due to being only 2 opponents left.

As conclussions we can see that those 2 players don't rely that much on imposter to check stuff, nor Mega-Mewtwo-X, but they do seem to trust Diancie and Yveltal. Aside from that I'm not seeing something strange from those players.

With that said, I feel it's time to show the teams used. If they feel somewhat reminiscent of previous ones, it's because they are for the most part.

Nihilslave: Thank you so much for having the exact same sprite as Quantum to make my work easier. Btw and for the next time because I saw you doing it, you only need to send the link of your victories once... On a serious note, we also appreciate usage of tech created by other top players like that Magic Guard Blissey. That being said, is not like Nihilslave lacks the sause; quite the contrary, it's still quite present in stuff like triple simple, triple fire with Prankster Chansey, Sticky web Ho-Oh and also Prankster Dialga-Origin. Also an interesting proposal is ice scales Arceus Fire and Poison, which were the pain of its opponent. Not a lot to add that I've not said before, is equal parts good learner and creative mind who wants to get you by surprise to win. Finally and as options used multiple times we have our 2 main flying types of this tier, Yveltal and Ho-Oh. Wish you luck on the finals.

Quantum Tesseract: First, didn't knew the B/W anime loved to ridiculize "focus" blast accuracy so much. Second, yes, you're reading right, it was good as gold Garchomp. Third, Sometimes you just can't win in life, because my lord was that an unlucky game 3. I think I've described Quantum's playstyle plenty of times, as a hornet who strikes from nowhere after a calculated risk and maneuver, so selecting a team who wasn't all that polished for what I could infer, alongside luck akin to someone who lives on a neighborhood full of black cats, and we got a somewhat anticlimatic finish to the once fan-favorite player to win... Oh wait, forgot to mention the playstyle of this week, maybe because it was the unremarkable standard of mostly good pokémon with a pinch of salt to not become too predictable, relying more on innate skill than anything else; this week had a lot of trust on Diancie-Mega.

As always, here are the weekly analysis for the ones who are curious. With this and the last one I would be done. Hope I can deliver due to being test week the next to the next one.

Finally, I said it before but I'll do it again: Don't give up, the tournament isn't over, and I know well that both of Nihilslave and Cityscapes can win the big prize. You have done something amazing Nihilslave, something not even Cityscapes could say on this tour, SURVIVING LOSER BRACKET HELL; if anyone could win over her, it would be either you or Quantum...
Wow, I REALLY sounded like that little pearl when she talks about helping "your special someone". I guess I'm just that optimistic of a person, which is odd because I'm also someone who considers "never surrender" a stupid idea (Ended like this often when I said it), made from people who don't value their time or mental sanity, nor the ones of their partners (LoL players are sick in a bad way); guess context is everything, specially with money on the line.

That would be it. Farewell and GODDAHMIT I'VE LOST TWO HOURS... No, not of this reply for once, from my game, I forgot to save when I was going to watch the loser finals; btw, that Jazz theme is still stuck on my head, alongside very inappropiate ones due to facing the Parasol b**** and that old poet. Also, it's weird I publish this before Chessking the finals, but oh well, that's life at times.

PS: F for Quantum Tesseract. This in particular hurts a bit because it was basically like a mentor to me, the reason I understand how this tier plays to begin with. That being said, both would've been big loses to me, because I admire almost equally both Quantum and Nihilslave.

PPS: Minor edits. There's always something slightly wrong or that I felt didn't clarified enough.

... Good morning, evening, afternoon, whatever. I'm amazed on how great that trilogy I got for 8 USD was; great drama, writing and characters despite being charicatures (Then there's Sal Manella), how the game knows when to take itself seriously, emotional or plain up silly (If I had to say a favorite it would be the), alongside clever usage of key poses and limited animation to give characters personality; the latter part reminded me why I have so much respect for Pokémon's artstyle, specially during gen 6 where they gave bigger focus to artwork due to the megas and NPC battles (And another reason no one cares about BDSP). You know the amazing thing of this? My brother knows this, yet still preferred to keep playing a mobile gacha game.

Disgusting gaming tastes from a coffee-addict medic aside, This is the last week and the last data. As always, let's start with pokémon used.

The interesting pick of the week is Flutter Mane, most likely as a fairy type who could outspeed MMX and wasn't vulnerable to strenght sap like Zacian is, as well as imposter-proof, but it might just be Nihilslave.

Now, as always, teams, but don't expect them to carry you high if you're not good at the game.

Also I guess It'll be worth commentating about the players one last time.

Cityscapes: Didn't knew you disliked this meta so much, and WOW your drawing skills are amazingly bad (Not that mine are good). Also you do admit colussion at the end... In all seriousness, you're a true inspiration for players in the tier, with seemingly flawless gameplay. I mean, do you think I stuck here for so long due to Chessking and Tea? No, it was due to you, Augustakira, Nihilslave and Quantum Tesseract. Aside from that, I think I've said it before, her playstyle is mostly calculated risks and careful maneuvering, not a lot of sauce but and more agressive than one might expect and lots of consistently good plays, more than any other players in this tournament, and as certain Youtuber I follow would say, f*** Yone and Yuumi consistency is king; her sauce btw is Volcanion, Screens Steelix and speed boost Celesteela, as well as lots of lessons taken from Augustakira, which makes sense considering the training together.

Nihilslave: ...Now I think I understand why you didn't seem to care about the tour results in the last few weeks. I guess money was that strong of a motivator, and well, I was moved by money, but after a while I started to engage with the tier truly due to these weekly reports; I also guess some stuff really doesn't change, and my naivety is definitely one of those, considering my experience on both Ace Attorney and this tour told me. The team structure of Nihilslave is as always, kinda unpredictable and without a lot of apparent focus, trying to break the opponent via surprise plays, but surprise factor is not good at breaking the unflappable mind.

... I guess this is the end of the road. Those last 3 months were an incredibly fun journey, but I guess everything good has to come to an end, else it gets rotten. Here are, for the last time, the previous weeks, organized for your sake and a bit mine as well.

Conclussion/Gratitude paragraph

I have of words to say, and I think that to understand me I have to tell what I was like 3 months ago. I was what I hate the most: A NEET, a parasite of my home and country with a gloom future. My father died not too long before so poor economic situation and not even access to internet for months due to burocracy, my first attempt to college career was a massive failure and I wasn't even useful at home, not even going outside to buy bread, just sitting there seeing youtube videos and playing videogames, and the one I played the most was in a sharp decline due to lacking direction; btw, NO, I'm not an introvert, so this isolation was nerve-wracking, but I felt I couldn't do anything about it.
Then, almost 4 months ago in Youtube, I saw one video of Freezai talking about this tier (Which, now I'm seeing again there's lots of you there. Chessking, Akira, Cityscapes, Tea, TTTech and some others), and something from both the footage and the whole situation of hacking pokémon to bypass dexit just sparkled a small flame in me, but not a lot, just some curiosity about the tier to play it; said curiosity and the money incentive was also enough to put me in the tournament at last moment despite being my first time at a tour, because I had to give this account I created to discuss about Tera some use and it should be fun.

This tour was my first time talking online on a second person, which I felt it was necessary to polish my talking skills both online and offline. After the tour started, and due to basically winning my round ONE WEEK BEFORE THE DEADLINE, because I had nothing else to do, I did what I used to do during school: To gather data from everyone who is participating, which I felt it would be useful for my round 2 preparation; That's how my first post was published. After that I was VERY tired and felt like a complete idiot but... It felt great, because I felt I was helping people. After Tea gave me a link to streamline the process, I decided to use the extra time to put a bit of rascal humor/meme.
Then I keep going, at first I felt because it was my obligation, but at week 3 or so I realized it was because of something else: MY LOVE FOR DATA ANALYSIS, which has always been there but I forgot about it for some reason, giving me an actual focus to my career. Then on week 5 I got something I've not gotten for years: A COMPLIMENT coming from Wildbeast. This made me realize I'M ACTUALLY GOOD AT DATA ANALYSIS, which means I WASN'T A GOOD FOR NOTHING destined to a poor job or the streets, I'm just a guy who has been severely lacking in the motivation and focus department. This gave me the motivation to involve myself more on the tournament and participants as weeks went by, even mustering the courage to talk to the eventual money winners of all this month to see the thing at live, and creating a discord which some of you should have noticed lately.

I genuinely changed so much due to this tour as a person, getting more focus, understanding myself better, creating some sense of responsibility, learning about social skills, reigniting my true passion for data analysis and in general scaping the most miserable of destinies I was self-condemning to. Still having lots of issues but at least want to improve. Also, while looking this, I've noticed in discord what you've been saying about me before I joined... DID my work really meant that much for you?!

This is why I have to say, Farewell and Thank you for everything.

PS: Minor edits. Also yes, I'm indeed calling Landorus-T Smogon's god even if jokingly... or at least ex-god, now it's Great Tusk.
