Hey there! Time for the second tournament of the year that gives points towards the 1v1 Circuit: the first edition of 1v1 Swiss!

There will be a few stages of Swiss rounds into a Single-Elimination Top Cut. The details of this will be decided and communicated after we are able to ascertain the number of signups that this tournament gets. Each round will last roughly one week.
Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the SV 1v1 ladder on the main server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found by using '/tier 1v1' on that server.
  • Each matchup will be held as a best of five.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on main server or smogtours.
  • Replays are not required but I encourage posting them for the development of the metagame.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only. Extensions will not be given.
  • This tournament will have seven rounds of Swiss pairings into a 16-person Top Cut. Losing three times will make it mathematically impossible for you to make top cut, so you will no longer be paired once you hit that threshold.

The deadline to play your opponent is Sunday, April 14th, at 11:59 PM GMT-4. If you have any questions, DM me.
Good luck to all players!

I am sorry but why am i 0-2? I clearly made scheduling attempt on their wall and they didnt respond
Hi there, making a scheduling attempt on a Sunday sadly does not count as a proper scheduling attempt, which made your game a coinflip.

Hi, I’m now realizing I never gave proof that they didn’t respond, and I lost both coin flips. Hopefully this can clear it up but I don’t know how this works ngl
Hey there, I can’t really go back on activity decisions once they’re made because that would cause an entire repair due to Swiss. In the future, try to either schedule publicly on the opponent’s wall or post the scheduling logs along with your activity call.
