[SET COMMENTS]
  • Possesing an Earth-shattering 194 special Attack stat, while outrunning most Pokemon in the metagame, and coverage for it’s checks, Mega Mewtwo Y is a very threatening special setup Pokemon as Common Pokemon like Eternatus, Ho-Oh, and Arceus-Ground can’t take it’s moves after a boost, especially because it can KO specially bulky opponents with Psystrike.
  • Fire Blast deals with Pokemon that can easily take on Psystrike, most commonly steel types like OHKOing Ferrothorn, OHKOing Zacian-C after stealth rock damage, and OHKOing Calyrex-I and Defensive Necrozma-DM after a Nasty Plot.
  • Ice Beam allows Mega Mewtwo Y to hit and severely cripple Yveltal on the switch-in, while dissuading Pokemon like Mega Salamence, Zygarde-Complete, and Rayquaza from switching into Mega Mewtwo Y. Focus Blast allows Mega Mewtwo Y to threaten Arceus-Dark and while providing coverage for Necrozma-DM and Ferrothorn. Recover takes advantage of the many switches Mewtwo Mega Y forces to heal. However, this gives up crucial coverage which must be accounted for with teammates.
  • 88 Def EVs allows Mega Mewtwo Y to survive Tera Normal Extreme Speed from Arceus, while 216 Speed EV‘s lets Mega Mewtwo Y outspeed Flutter Mane, while also outspeeding crucial threats like Mega Salamence and Necrozma-Ultra. It’s not always required to immediately Mega Evolve, as the defense drop could allow for Pokemon like Marshadow’s choice banded Shadow Sneak, and Foul Play from Arceus-Dark can KO it.
  • Mega Mewtwo Y should be used as a wallbreaker in the early and mid game, as the damage it gets on other Pokemon can help its teammates break through them later into the game. It has the potential to sweep, but it doesn't do so consistently, as it runs into many roadblocks, like weakness to priority from Marshadow and Yveltal.
  • Mewtwo Y fits best on bulky offense and balance teams, as other Hard-Hitting Pokémon such as Zacian-C and Power Herb Eternatus appreciate Mega Mewtwo Y breaking down checks for them to potentially sweep in the future.
  • Pokémon such as Ho-Oh, Zygarde, and Arceus-Fairy can deal massive damage to Mega Mewtwo Y, scarring it out, so Pokémon that deal with these Pokemon, like Primal Groudon, Zygarde, Necrozma-DM, and Zacian-C.

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Possessing Due to it’s an Earth-shattering 194 Special Attack stat, while speed capable of outrunning most Pokémon in the metagame, and coverage for its checks most common metagame threats, Mega Mewtwo Y acts as is a very threatening special setup sweeper(rc) as most Pokémon can’t take it’s moves after a boost nasty plot or Calm Mind.
  • Calm Mind is can be an alternative to Nasty Plot, as the special defense boosts allow it to take special hits that could stop sweeps. At +1, Mewtwo Y can survive a Dark Pulse from Specially Offensive Yveltal(rc) and a boosted Hex with status from Giratina-O. Also mention some calcs that MMY misses out on if it elects to run CM over NP.
  • Psystrike is a acts as a very spammable neutral STAB move which also option as it doesn't have much resistances and destroys special walls such as Chansey that would otherwise wall Mega Mewtwo Y. due to it hitting on the Physical side of the spectrum. (redundant) allowing Mewtwo Y to OHKO or 2HKO most non-resists after a boost. After a boost, Psystrike... It also deals with common metagame threats Pokemon such as like Eternatus, Necrozma-Ultra, and Giratina-O. Mention some other neutral targets that Psystrike destroys.
  • Fire Blast allows it to handle deal with Steel-Types like such as Necrozma-DM Dusk Mane, Zacian-Crowned, and Ferrothorn, as they resist Psystrike redundant and allow it to set up or threaten to KO it hitting them on the switch-in or OHKOing after a boost. The following should be a separate bullet point per the change to the set Alternatively, Ice Beam allows Mega Mewtwo Y to catch the multitude of Ice-Weak threats like Mega Salamence, Zygarde-Complete, Yveltal, and Rayquaza, which dissuades these Pokémon to switching into Mewtwo Y, as they could KO it without. If Zygarde-C is in v MMY it will either scout the IB or tera. Reword to something along lines of to hit Yveltal on the switch-in while also dissuading Pokemon such as ... from switching in.
  • This bullet point should be merged with ice beam Focus Blast allows it enables Mega Mewtwo Y to threaten Arceus-Dark while providing coverage for Necrozma-DM and Ferrothorn if Fire Blast is dropped. Necrozma-Dusk and Ferrothorn, while also dealing with Arceus-Dark, and Ekiller Arceus on the switch, while Recover takes advantage of the many switches Mega Mewtwo Y forces to heal. However, this gives up crucial coverage which must be accounted for. can heal off damage taken through Priority like Extreme Speed from Arceus and Rayquaza, and continue taking out Pokémon. MMY is too frail to recover off this priority as both are likely to 2HKO and always do with any chip.
  • 88 Def EV‘s allows Mewtwo Y to survive Choice Band Marshadow’s Shadow Sneak. and Extreme Speeds from Arceus and Choice Band Rayquaza. while 216 Speed EV‘s means Mega Mewtwo Y hits a 370 Speed stat, capable of out-speeding important Pokémon like Yveltal, Zygarde, and Rayquaza. Reword this. The speed EVs are to outspeed Marshadow while in Base form. You can also mention how it is not always essential to immediately Mega Evolve due to the Defence reduction.
  • Mega Mewtwo Y shoudn’t really be used until the endgame, as allowing it to take too much damage without Recover, or letting it get statused destroys It’s sweeping potential, and allows it to be easily KO’d. This is incorrect. MMY is primarily used as a wallbreaker early and mid-game that has the potential to sweep. It can sweep but runs into far too many roadblocks to consistently do so.
  • Mega Mewtwo Y fits best on bulky offense and balance more Offensive teams, as other Hard-Hitting Pokémon such as like Necrozma-Ultra and Ekiller Arceus can wear down Mewtwo Y’s counters so it can break through when it’s time to sweep, and can also chip down threats on their checks, allowing them to sweep more efficiently. As mentioned earlier, this tends to be the other way around. Additionally, you've listed three mons that all get destroyed by Marshdow and Arceus-Dark. If you are going to list offensive partners I'd suggest Zacian-C and Power Herb Eternatus.
  • Defensive Pokémon like Ho-Oh and Primal Kyogre can take Special Attacks from Mewtwo due to their high special defense stats and tan take Psystrike due to their Physical Bulk, so Pokémon that can deal with these Pokemon, like Primal Groupon with Stone Edge, can be really useful for Mega Mewtwo Y to sweep later in the game. This also needs to be reworded. Generally when you've used 'like' you should use such as. Primal Groudon is a fine example, though Stone Edge does not need to be specified. MMY is rare on HO as it heavily exacerbates issues with mons many of these teams have already (Arceus-Dark / Marshadow / Sucker Punch Yveltal). Ho-Oh is not a great switch-in as MMY as Psystrike does enough damage at +2 that it struggles to do its job. Defensive Primal Kyogre is in a similar situation and if anything is setup fodder for MMY. Consider listing some teammates that handle mons which scare MMY out such as Ho-Oh, Zygarde, and Arceus-Fairy.

Implemented. Thanks
Also please remove the bit about bulk enabling MMY to live Arceus and Rayquazas Espeed. I've double checked and MMY is not OHKOed by even tera normal espeed from Arceus with 0 def evs

edit: it lives tera normal arc espeed after stealth rock so that can be mentioned. Rayquaza should still be removed though

Quite considerable changes, I'd prefer to see how this ends up being applied before giving a QC 2/2.

  • Possesing an Earth-shattering 194 special Attack stat, while outrunning most Pokémon Pokemon analyses don't use the accent, please remove it in any other cases with it in the metagame, and coverage for it’s checks, Mega Mewtwo Y is a very threatening special setup Pokemon as most Pokémon such as? mention some notable walls in the tier can’t take it’s moves after a boost.
  • Calm Mind is an alternative to Nasty Plot, as the special defense boosts allow it to take special hits that could stop sweeps. At +1, Mewtwo Y can survive a Dark Pulse from Specially Offensive Yveltal, and a boosted Hex from Giratina-O, but it also misses out in some crucial kills like Primal Groudon and Giratina-Origin, while being unlikely to kill Uninvested Necrozma-DM and Yveltal. Unsure on if Calm Mind is viable, especially on sets without Recover as this bullet point admits that even though it can survive a hit from Gira-O, it can't do sufficient back compared to NP, I'd recommend to justify it with better examples or just remove it (including its slash on the set and other mentions)
  • Psystrike is a very spammable neutral STAB move which also destroys special walls such as Chansey that would otherwise wall Mega Mewtwo Y. After a boost, Psystrike deals with Pokémon such as Eternatus, Necrozma-Ultra, Giratina-O, Mega Salamence, Palkia-O, Rayquaza, and Flutter Mane. Self evident plus dex information, it'd be better to cover in the introduction in the very first bullet point its niche as a special wallbreaker that can circumvent some specially bulky foes with Psystrike
  • Fire Blast allows it to handle Steel-Types Steel-types such as Necrozma-DM, Zacian-C, and Ferrothorn, hitting them on the switch or OHKOing after a boost. Rephrase this into this move complementing Psystrike (instead of mentioning it in a vacuum) to hit resists, which mostly include Steel-types, and be more specific on OHKOes or 2HKOes reached after a Nasty Plot (or Calm Mind, if it stays), such as always OHKOing X, 2HKOing Y after Stealth Rock, OHKOing Z after a Nasty Plot
  • Ice Beam allows Mega Mewtwo Y to hit and severely cripple Yveltal on the switch-in, while dissuading Pokémon like Mega Salamence, Zygarde-Complete, and Rayquaza from switching into Mega Mewtwo Y. Focus Blast allows Mega Mewtwo Y to threaten Arceus-Dark and while providing coverage for Necrozma-DM and Ferrothorn if Fire Blast is dropped. Outdated Recover takes advantage of the many switches Mewtwo Mega Y forces to heal. However, this gives up crucial coverage which must be accounted for. Mention the capability to wall some foes with the combination of Calm Mind and Recover, if that move stays
  • 88 Def EV‘s EVs please fix this spelling in other cases allows Mega Mewtwo Y to survive Choice Band Marshadow’s Shadow Sneak, and Tera Normal Extreme Speed from Arceus, while 216 Speed EV‘s lets Mega Mewtwo Y out-speed Adamant Marshadow in base form, while also out speeding Pokémon like Yveltal, Zygarde, and Rayquaza. This is not the main point of that Speed tier, it's intended to outspeed Flutter Mane , no recommended set even runs Adamant Marshadow as it's crucial for it to outspeed Arceus formes, rephrase this bit and remove the mention of Marshadow It’s not always required to immediately mega evolve Mega Evolve, as the defense drop could allow for crucial damage to cripple it. To KO it you mean? If so, I'd recommend to give a concrete example or two of stuff base Mewtwo survives that MMY doesn't, otherwise I'd recommend to rephrase as this is vague either way
  • Mega Mewtwo Y should be used as a Wallbreaker wallbreaker in the early and mid game, as the damage it gets on other Pokémon can help it’s teammates break through them later into the game. It has the potential to sweep, but it dosen‘t doesn't do so consistentl consistently, as it runs into many roadblocks while trying to sweep. such as?
  • Mewtwo Y fits best on Bulky Offense bulky offense and Balance balance team structure type names are not capitalized teams, as other Hard-Hitting Pokémon such as Zacian-C and Power Herb Eternatus appreciate Mega Mewtwo Y breaking down checks for them to potentially sweep in the future.

I'd really recommend to check from the third step onwards on this at it seems you may not be applying the QC checks in the easy and intended manner.

It seems you may be having trouble applying QC stuff, I'd recommend to look here from the 3rd step onwards to have an idea on how you're intended to apply a QC check.

Apply the stuff below and this can pass as QC 2/2, after that don't forget to update the OP to have [GP 0/1], change the label from "Quality Control" to "Copyediting", then ping GP Team in this thread, feel free to ask if you're unsure on something.

  • Possesing an Earth-shattering 194 special Attack stat, while outrunning most Pokemon in the metagame, and coverage for it’s checks, Mega Mewtwo Y is a very threatening special setup Pokemon as Common Pokemon rephrase this bit, "Common Pokemon" isn't a coined term and sticks out like Eternatus, Ho-Oh, and Arceus-Ground can’t take it’s moves after a boost, especially because it can KO specially bulky opponents such as? with Psystrike.
  • Fire Blast deals with Pokemon that can easily take on Psystrike, most commonly steel types like OHKOing Ferrothorn, OHKOing Zacian-C after stealth rock damage, and OHKOing Calyrex-I and after a Nasty Plot Defensive Necrozma-DM after a Nasty Plot. Moved that earlier to not imply all the previous benchmarks required NP.
  • 88 Def EVs allows Mega Mewtwo Y to survive Tera Normal Extreme Speed from Arceus That's not the intent of those EVs, but rather to avoid a OHKO from Life Orb Marshadow as MMY, rephrase accordingly, while 216 Speed EV‘s lets Mega Mewtwo Y outspeed Flutter Mane and Chien-Pao got recently ranked, while also outspeeding crucial threats like Mega Salamence and Necrozma-Ultra.
  • Mega Mewtwo Y fits best on bulky offense and balance teams, as other Hard-Hitting Pokémon such as Zacian-C and Power Herb Meteor Beam that's the name of the set Eternatus appreciate Mega Mewtwo Y breaking down checks such as? for them to potentially sweep in the future.
  • Pokémon such as Ho-Oh, Zygarde, and Arceus-Fairy can deal massive damage to Mega Mewtwo Y, scarring it out, so Pokémon that deal with these Pokemon, like Primal Groudon, Zygarde, Necrozma-DM, and Zacian-C ...are what for it?.
