AAA holy shit another lando-t set (Fluffy Landorus-T) [DONE]

[SET]
Physical Wall (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Rocky Helmet / Leftovers
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 252 HP / 248 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock

[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to Landorus-T's wide range of utility, decent physical bulk improved by Fluffy, and incredible Attack stat, it functions as a physical wall and pivot that can set entry hazards. U-turn allows Landorus-T to pivot out on Flying-types that it forces in like Corviknight, Skarmory, and opposing Landorus-T and switch into Pokemon that can check these foes, such as Iron Moth, Zapdos, and Walking Wake. Taunt prevents the setting of entry hazards by Skarmory and Ting-Lu and the use of Roost and Defog by Corviknight and Mandibuzz. Stealth Rock allows Landorus-T to wear down a great deal of Pokemon, but it typically chips Choice-item Pokemon such as Azelf, Roaring Moon, and Walking Wake. Rocky Helmet is the preferred item, as it allows Landorus-T to chip down U-turn Pokemon like Corviknight and non-Magic Guard Roaring Moon, but Leftovers can also be used to increase its longevity. 8 Speed EVs allow Landorus-T to outpace maximum Speed Modest Primarina, while the rest are poured into HP and Attack to increase its overall bulk and offense. Knock Off users like Roaring Moon and Manaphy make great partners for Landorus-T as they are able to remove Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon like Mandibuzz, Corviknight, and Great Tusk, allowing it and its teammates to make progress faster. Landorus-T struggles against physical attackers like Chien-Pao and Barraskewda, so physical walls like Corviknight and Manaphy make good partners. Stealth Rock quickly wears down Landorus-T, especially Rocky Helmet variants, so hazard removal options like Corviknight and Great Tusk are mandatory.

Thanks to its wide utility, decent physical bulk improved by Fluffy, and incredible Attack stat, Landorus-T functions as a physical wall, while also being a solid wallbreaker pivot that can set entry hazards. U-turn allows Landorus-T to pivot out on Flying-types that it forces in like Corviknight, Skarmory, and opposing Landorus-T, and switch into Pokemon that can counter these foes, such as Iron Moth, Zapdos, and Manaphy Gholdengo makes progress better against corv and skarm. Taunt gives Landorus-T important utility, allowing it to prevent the setting of entry by Skarmory and Ting-Lu, while also preventing the use of Roost and Defog from Corviknight and Mandibuzz. Stealth Rock allows Landorus-T to wear down Choice-item Pokemon such as Azelf, Roaring Moon, and Walking Wake, while also working well with Taunt as it prevents the use of Defog you talk about this earlier, id replace with something about chipping down pokemon you force in like corviknight and skarmory. Rocky Helmet is the preferred item, as it allows Landorus-T to chip down U-turn Pokemon like Corviknight and non-Magic Guard Roaring Moon, but Leftovers can also be used to increase Landorus-T's longevity. 8 Speed EVs allows Landorus-T to outspeed max Speed Modest nature Primarina, while the rest are poured into HP and Attack to increase its overall bulk and offense. Knock Off users should be the first mention here, knocking off boots and leftovers is so important for landorus’ gameplan; i think id prioritise knock users like roaring moon that get corv to switch in on it and then knock if off, rather than something like manaphy that threatens corv out Landorus-T struggles against Pokemon such as Zapdos and opposing Desolate Land Landorus-T variants, so teammates that can cover for these threats such as Swampert and Manaphy are much appreciated. Stealth Rock quickly wears down Landorus-T, especially Rocky Helmet variants, so hazard removal options like Corviknight and Great Tusk are mandatory.

U-turn allows Landorus-T to pivot out on Flying-types that it forces in like Corviknight, Skarmory, and opposing Landorus-T, and switch into Pokemon that can counter these foes, such as Iron Moth, Zapdos, and Gholdengo gholdengo doesn't consistently counter lando-t, choose another mon that can beat all three of the mons listed. Taunt gives Landorus-T important utility, allowing it to prevent the setting of entry hazards by Skarmory and Ting-Lu, while also preventing the use of Roost and Defog from Corviknight and Mandibuzz. Stealth Rock allows Landorus-T to wear down Choice-item Pokemon such as Azelf, Roaring Moon, and Walking Wake it doesn't wear down strictly choice-locked mons, reword to say it can wear down foes but emphasize offensive pokemon. Landorus-T struggles to fulfill it's role due to Knock Off users such as Roaring Moon and Great Tusk, so Corviknight is an applicable teammate since it easily switches in on Knock Off. evie's comment was about how knocking off leftovers/hdb from opposing mons is important for lando-t to be able to make progress Landorus-T also struggles against Pokemon such as Zapdos and opposing Desolate Land Landorus-T variants, so teammates that can cover for these threats such as Swampert and Manaphy are much appreciated. these mons aren't that common enough to warrant specifically mentioning them and nothing else. i'd talk about physical mons that lando-t is weak to and teammates that can help Stealth Rock quickly wears down Landorus-T, especially Rocky Helmet variants, so hazard removal options like Corviknight and Great Tusk are mandatory.
